Vereis soy un poco novato en esto; pero he intentado instalar my_egallery en mi servidor: Lycos, y no funciona bien. despues de leer q es por el "safe_mode" q lo tengo activado, e decidido instalar el gallery, paso por paso, tal y como viene en el manual.
y cuando llego al paso 7: Una vez hecho esto, vamos a la dirección http://[www.TuWeb.com]/modules/gallery/setup/index.php desde nuestro navegador. Así iniciaremos el asistente.
Me encuentro con este error:

Intento abrir el modulo, y me pone q no esta configurado, y me sale esto:
Gallery must be configured before you can use it. First, you must put Gallery in Configuration Mode. Here's how:
Unix with shell access
% cd /path/to/your/gallery
% sh ./configure.sh
Unix with FTP access
ftp> chmod 666 .htaccess
ftp> chmod 666 config.php
ftp> chmod 755 setup
Windows
C:\> cd \path\to\your\gallery
C:\> configure.bat
