An international travel company requires LINUX ADMINISTRATORS to work in its new IT BUSINESS CENTER located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day to day administration of all Linux server systems in every environment, including development, QA and production.
- Project work revolving around various aspects of delivering new Linux infrastructure to the organisation as well as updating the existing environment.
- Datacenter work, such as racking and stacking, cabling etc on a rota basis.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- RHCE and any other Linux related
- Extensive and in-depth RedHat Linux skills covering v7.3 Fedora Core 4, incl RHEL and RHAS through to v4.x
- Custom kernel compilation
- Custom RPM package building
- Kickstart
- Shell scripting
- Good understanding of system security, general networking and routing
- Demonstrable fault-finding skills desirable
- Cfengine
- Sun Solaris
EXPERIENCE
- Experience of large Linux environment
- 3-4 years in depth Linux skills at all levels of the Operating System desirable
- ISP experience
- IT experience in the Software industry
- ITIL and Change Control experience
